Argento, who else?

One of the most impressive horses of this indoor season is Argento (Arko III) of John Whitaker. He won on Friday in Amsterdam and also on Sunday at the end of the GP. After 27 years Whitaker grabs his first GP victory in the RAI exposition center of The Netherlands’ capital Amsterdam. For Argento, an AES born and approved stallion, Amsterdam was the first show of the year. At London Olympia he just missed the blue ribbon placing second in the GP and third at 1.50m. In Salzburg he was twice fast four pointer in the jump-off, each time ending up in fourth spot. In Kiel and München he started the indoor season with each time first place in the GP. In Amsterdam the eighteen-year-old Irish talent Bertram Allen was the best rider of the show, placing several times in the top ten on his super competitive horse Molly Malone (Kannan).
