The CSI4* GP of Bolesworth went to The Netherlands with Michel Hendrix on top. He beat the Colombian Roberto Terran and the Irish Paul Kennedy. The highest placed British rider was Yazmin Pinchen aboard Ashkari (Tornado), jumping a steady double clear. Also for Angelie von Essen, Richard Davenport’s wife, speed wasn’t high enough. She and her AES horse Newton Abbot (Converter) scored one penalty point due to exceeding the time allowed in the first round of this 1.60m Grand Prix. Sea Coast B 52 F Z, a mare by the AES approved stallion Bamako De Muze, won the last speed class on Sunday. Many other AES horses had good ribbons during the show in Bolesworth. Joe Whitaker and Lola V (Locarno) placed second in Friday’s 1.55m class.
