Dr Eva-Maria Broomer is Elected Vice President of the World Breeding Federation

It is a great pleasure to announce that our studbook representative, Eva-Maria Broomer, has today been successful in her nomination to become a Vice President of the World Breeding Federation. There were four candidates for two positions on the board, to oversee the breeding department and the department for development. Eva and Paul Hubert from the Selle Francais gained the highest number of votes.

In a groundbreaking move, Eva's nomination was supported by the KWPN whose Breeding Director, Ralph van Venrooij, will be joining the WBFSH's Executive Committee.

Eva is looking forward to this new cooperation:

"We are very grateful to everyone who has voted for us and supported us in this nomination. Above all, I am delighted about our cooperation with the KWPN and looking forward to working with Ralph. We are both very enthusiastic and open to fostering a greater spirit of international collaboration for the benefit of all breeders."

Says AES Director Joris van den Oetelaar:

"We are extremely proud that for the very first time, there is a Vice President from the UK on the WBFSH Board. Eva has worked tirelessly not only for our studbook, but also for British Breeding as a whole, showing what can be achieved when we work together. She and Ralph will bring a lot of new ideas and energy to the organisation."
