Utamaro d’Ecaussines wins Lummen GP

The first week of the Spring Tour in Lummen turned out to be a great success for the AES studbook. We won not only two seven-year-old finals, but also a fully AES approved stallion won the Grand Prix. We’re talking about the small phenomenon Utamaro d’Ecaussines (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel), a horse bred by Christophe Ameeuw, owned by Ludwig Criel and ridden by Joe Clee. They won just one hundredth of a second in front of the Dutch rider Pieter Keunen. Utamaro d’Ecaussines also place fourth in the 1.45m Ranking class on Friday.
