Tripple X III and Blue Angel winning at Spruce Meadows

Saturday night the BMO Nations Cup of Calgary was won for the second time in history by the home team of Canada. The team was consisted of Eric Lamaze, Ian Millar, the 22 year old Ben Asselin and the Tiffany Foster of team Ziegler. Foster rode her stallion Tripple X III (Namelus R), the former Olympic horse of Ben Maher, to five points in total over two 1.60m rounds. The USA placed second and Belgium came in third after one clear round of the AES gelding Dylano (Cento lano) with Pieter Devos. Kent Farrington (Blue Angel) won the opening class over 1.50m at Spruce Meadows on Thursday after the exceptional snow was removed from the arena.
