PRESS RELEASE    The stallion INDOCTRO V/D STEENBLOK  (Rubin Royal x Gribaldi) owned by dressage rider Wim Verwimp, has been approved by the Anglo European Studbook (AES) last week and was also given the predicate ‘Elite’. The nine-year-old stallion belongs to the lucky few of AES-elite stallions like PAINTED BLACK  and UTHOPIA . We talk to Koen Olaerts about Indoctro’s approval. He has been responsible for AES Belgium since the last 15 years and is also a part of the stallion selection committee. Olaerts: “Indoctro is a stallion that can be of great added value for Belgium breeding nowadays. He is compact, modern, is able to switch easily in his gaits and is light-footed. He is already achieving great results at Grand Prix level with Fanny Verliefden and we expect a great sports career of this relatively young stallion. We awarded him ‘Elite’ because of the fact that he is acting at Grand Prix level and he is at the right place at Stal Verwimp. Elite stallion are allowed to cover an unlimited number of mares. Besides that, offspring of elite studs receive their AES-passport for free.
